Our home is more than just a restaurant; it’s a landmark with a soul. The building we occupy has been at the heart of Carshalton life since 1874. Long before the first curtain rose, these walls witnessed the laughter of a Victorian roller-skating rink (1900–1912) and the glow of an early cinema (1912–1939). In 1991, the space was transformed into the Charles Cryer Theatre and officially opened by HRH Prince Edward. Today, we carry that legacy forward. Under our roof, the building's historic red brick arches and storied past meet the modern artistry of our kitchen. Whether you are here for our weekly Chef’s Specials or an evening of live music, you are stepping into a piece of local history that has been a social hub for over 150 years.
